I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual therapy. I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Chicago, where I studied behavioral therapies. I have clinical experience in public and private settings, and recently received advanced clinical training in developmental trauma through the Chicago Center for Integration and Healing.
Using a humanistic, relational lens, I approach every session with curiosity and openness. This means I see our relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and approach you as a whole, complex person with strengths, challenges, and a unique story. My work is informed by attachment theory and a somatic understanding of the human experience.
Before moving to Chicago for graduate school, I worked in Human Rights in southern Mexico and at a methadone clinic in Appalachia. I find joy and meaning in connecting with people of all walks of life.
